2011–2015 Case Tier 4 Interim Wheel Loader DEF Delete Tune

The first F Series wheel loaders, built 2011 to 2015, met Tier 4 Interim with FPT’s SCR system alone, so DEF is the one emissions system standing between the operator and a full day of loading. Our emulator plugs into the loader’s diagnostic connector and stops the SCR system from calling for fluid. There is no file to read or send, and nothing on the exhaust changes. We ship all across the US and Canada.

Why delete the DEF on a Case 621F?

Diesel exhaust fluid

Tier 4 Interim F Series loaders are now well past ten years old, and their DEF pumps, heated hoses and tank sensors were never meant to last that long. Loaders working snow removal or yard duty in the cold sit idle with fluid in the lines, which freezes, crystallizes and wears out the supply module. Taking DEF off the job removes the fluid bill and the most failure-prone parts on an aging 621F.

SCR

Selective catalytic reduction

With no EGR or DPF on board, these loaders count on SCR for all their NOx control, and the ECM watches every part of it closely. One tired NOx sensor or a clogged dosing nozzle can put the loader into reduced torque in the middle of loading trucks. The emulator keeps the SCR readings in range, so worn parts no longer slow the machine down.

Why an emulator?

Tier 4 Interim Case loaders are not reflashed. The emulator connects at the diagnostic plug and stays in the cab, handling the DEF side on its own. Every unit is assembled and tested in our shop before it ships.

Q1Which Case wheel loaders does this fit?+

Tier 4 Interim Case F Series loaders built from 2011 to 2015: the 521F, 621F, 721F, 821F, 921F, 1021F and 1121F. For 2014 and newer Tier 4 Final loaders, see our Tier 4 Final wheel loader page.

Q2Do I need a laptop or handheld?+

No. The emulator connects at the diagnostic plug and starts working the next time the loader is started. There is no file to read or return.

Q3Can I still plug in a scan tool?+

Yes. The Y connector keeps a port open, so a scan tool or dealer service tool can connect while the emulator stays installed.

Q4Does anything on the exhaust change?+

No. These loaders have no DPF or EGR, and the SCR catalyst stays where it is.

Q5What should I do with the DEF tank?+

Drain the remaining fluid, then flush the tank, pump and lines with washer fluid so leftover DEF cannot crystallize inside.

Q6When will my emulator ship?+

Most orders ship the next business day across the US and Canada. Expedited orders placed after 12 PM ET go out the next day.
