2011–2014 Case IH Steiger / Quadtrac DEF Delete Tune

Keep your Tier 4A Steiger, Quadtrac or Rowtrac working without the cost and hassle of the urea system. Our Reflash Master handheld connects in the cab and loads new engine software that turns off DEF dosing, so the exhaust hardware stays where it is. Choose a Stage 1 or Stage 2 horsepower file and add up to 150 hp to a 550 Quadtrac. We ship all across the US and Canada.

Why delete the DEF on a Tier 4A Steiger?

These were some of the first Steigers to need urea, and many owners still run the original tank, lines and heaters. More than ten years on, clogged filters, frozen lines and crystal buildup are common. Removing the fluid requirement means you stop paying for DEF and stop chasing faults in an aging system.

SCR

Selective catalytic reduction

Early SCR systems were not as robust as later designs, and replacement parts for a 2011–2014 tractor can be expensive or slow to arrive. A tired dosing pump or a failing NOx sensor is often enough to put the engine into derate. With our file, the ECM ignores those parts, so they cannot limit power or stop the tractor.

Tier 4A Steigers still have plenty to give

The factory calibrations on these tractors leave a lot of room. Stage 2 takes a 550 Quadtrac from 550 hp to around 700 hp, more than the factory rating of any tractor in this lineup.

Q2Does the handheld work on more than one tractor?+

It can. Each Reflash Master locks to the VIN of the tractor it tunes, but the handheld is yours to keep. When you are ready to tune another machine, contact our team and we will reset it for the next VIN.

Q3Do I have to remove any exhaust parts?+

No. These tractors were built without a DPF, and the SCR can stays on without restricting the engine. You only need to install the software.

Q4What happens to the DEF tank after the reflash?+

You can leave it empty. The ECM no longer doses fluid or checks the tank, so low or poor quality DEF will not set a code or reduce power.

Q5Will I use more fuel with more horsepower?+

Not necessarily. A tuned engine makes its power more efficiently and runs at a lighter load for the same job. Use the extra power only when you need it, and fuel use often stays about the same or drops.
