Reflash Master Handheld Device:
Our Reflash Master handheld tuner makes tuning possible in four easy steps. After receiving the handheld device in the mail, it is ready to take a read of the ECM on the Takeuchi Skid Steer. After sending the read file, we have a turn around time of 2 hours before sending your modified (MOD) file back to you. Once the MOD file has been written to the Takeuchi, it's ready to go to work. Also included in our kit is the Reflash Master Client software, all cabling required, and a Quick Reference Guide for the handheld device. There is also a link to download TeamViewer, this is important incase any technical support is required during the tuning process. 

In need of more power? 
This is a question that we get asked quite often. If you are in a situation where you feel like the machine you have is lacking in the horsepower department, we can help! When it comes to horsepower increases, the best way to explain it is that we are making the engine more efficient. It produces more power, sooner. When operating the equipment, it will take less load on the engine to get up to speed. This reduced the overall load on the engine, and as a result reduces the amount of fuel required. If there is a situation where more power is needed, you’ll have the extra horsepower available to you! It really is the best of both worlds. 

What is a DPF System, what do you need to do with it?
The diesel particulate filter, or DPF is part of the exhaust aftertreatment system. It’s main purpose is to trap particulate matter, such as soot. This soot has to be periodically burned off, which regenerates the filter. When the soot level reaches a high enough percentage, the engine starts to inject fuel directly into the exhaust system. This creates heat and converts soot into carbon dioxide. Having to deal with regen can cause down time for the machine. In some cases, the DPF will have to be replaced, or cleaned manually. Not to mention it is also extremely restrictive on the engine's ability to push air out. When it comes to removing the DPF canister, the only decision you have to make is whether you hollow it out or straight pipe it! 

What is software tuning?
Software tuning is customized engine management, that is flashed onto your engine control module. This results in an increase of horsepower and torque, while reducing the overall engine load - this helps reduce fuel consumption. Improved torque makes the vehicle more responsive while working with heavy loads. It can also be used to reflash the emissions system that is equipped on a piece of equipment. Some applications have to come to our shop directly to be tuned, however the majority of the equipment on the market today is supported through our handheld device! 

Emissions tuning is for off-road use only. Please consult your Provincial or State legislation, as this product may not be street legal. Removal of emissions systems cannot be performed on vehicles that are registered for highway use. It is up to the Consumer to know and understand their local legislation prior to purchasing.
