2015-Present Kubota M7 Tractor Reflash
Tier4B EGR/DPF/DEF Reflash and Horsepower Tuning
Engine Control Module and Aftertreatment Control Module have to be shipped to our location for bench flashing with a turnaround time of the next day. Contact sales@reimertuning.com for more information.
Kit includes:
- Denso DPF reset tool
- ECM/ACM emission programming
- Step by Step instructions via email for the removal of ECM and ACM controllers
- Step by Step instructions via email for removal of DPF filter
In need of more power?
We also offer horsepower tuning with these reflashes. 10% or 20% horsepower is available for these M7 Tractors! That is a 17hp or 25hp increase!
FAQ - Aftertreatment Harness
The aftertreatment harness on the machine is damaged, does it need to be repaired for the tune to work?
No, our file turns off the entire aftertreatment harness. This means that the harness does not have to be repaired for the can bus system to work properly. It is not necessary to run resistors, or leave the sensors plugged in for can bus resistance.
What makes us different from other tuners?
There is no more worrying about diesel exhaust fluid, or having your machine go into regen mode because of the diesel particulate filter. This kit includes everything that you will need to make sure your M7 continues to work hard, just like you. Once an order has been confirmed, step-by-step instructions will be sent out to show you how to complete the mechanical portion of the reflash. Included in the kit is a blocker plate for the exhaust gas recirculation valve, accompanied by an OEM gasket to ensure a perfect seal. As well as a DPF reset tool to prevent the auto-regen setting in the dashboard. Having a diesel particulate filter is like breathing through a straw, it is extremely restrictive! The only decision you have to make is if you’re going to hollow out, or straight pipe the DPF system. Eliminating the DPF canister really opens the engine bay up. Let your Kubota engine breathe the way it was designed to.
How does this affect my fuel consumption?
This is a question that we get asked quite often. When it comes to horsepower increases, the best way to explain it is that we are making the engine more efficient. It produces more power, sooner. If you drive the equipment nicely, you will get up to speed faster, keeping the engine load lower - reducing overall load. If there is a situation where more power is needed, you’ll have the extra horsepower that you need! It really is the best of both worlds.
Shipping instructions are sent out via email once an order has been confirmed. This will give you all the Customs and shipping information you’ll need to ensure the shipping of your ECM and ACM goes smoothly.
What is an EGR System, and why remove them?
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is a method that is used to control Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) emissions. The purpose of this system is to return a small portion of exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber through the intake manifold. Lowering combustion temperature, resulting in a reduction of NOx emissions. The issue with EGR systems is that the valve can stick open due to carbon deposits. A worst case scenario is that the EGR becomes completely blocked, this will result in poor fuel mileage and a loss of power. When this occurs, it results in engine warning lights and the equipment going into limp mode.
What is a DPF System?
The diesel particulate filter, or DPF is part of the exhaust aftertreatment system. It’s main purpose is to trap particulate matter, such as soot. This soot has to be periodically burned off, which regenerates the filter. When the soot level reaches a high enough percentage, the engine starts to inject fuel directly into the exhaust system. This creates heat and converts soot into carbon dioxide. Having to deal with regen can cause down time for the machine. In some cases, the DPF will have to be replaced, or cleaned manually. Not to mention it is also extremely restrictive on the engine's ability to push air out. When it comes to removing the DPF canister, the only decision you have to make is whether you hollow it out or straight pipe it!
Emissions tuning is for off-road use only. Please consult your Provincial or State legislation, as this product may not be street legal. Removal of emissions systems cannot be performed on vehicles that are registered for highway use. It is up to the Consumer to know and understand their local legislation prior to purchasing.
