Why delete the DPF, EGR and DEF on an SVL95-2s?

DPF

Diesel particulate filter

Traps soot, then burns it off in a regen that sprays fuel into the exhaust. Regens mean downtime, and a plugged filter means cleaning or replacement. Removing it lets the engine breathe freely.

EGR

Exhaust gas recirculation

Routes hot, sooty exhaust back into the intake. Over time it carbons up the intake and adds heat. Our kit includes a blocker plate and OEM gasket for a clean seal.

DEF

Diesel exhaust fluid / SCR

Needs constant fluid top-ups and depends on sensors that can fault and derate the machine. The reflash shuts it off so DEF is no longer needed.

The SVL95 is our #1 selling product. We purchased our own SVL95 and built the perfect file here in house for these skid steers before bringing it to market.

Q2My aftertreatment harness is damaged. Do I need to repair it?+

No. Our file turns off the entire aftertreatment harness, so the CAN bus works without it. You do not need resistors or to leave the sensors plugged in.

Q3Can you bypass a DPF filter?+

Yes. Our kit allows a complete DPF bypass. All sensors are turned off, so the exhaust temperature and pressure sensors can be relocated. We offer two piping options: a DPF bypass kit that keeps your existing exhaust layout, or a stainless steel straight pipe with resonator that replaces the DPF and SCR. Choose your option above (piping is not sold separately).

Q4Will Stage 1 or Stage 2 tuning increase fuel use?+

We increase the mapping linearly across the board. This means that your machine produces more power sooner. If you run the machine at a lower engine load, you will save fuel, while still having the extra power there when the job calls for it.
