Stage 1 Tune focuses on fuel economy with small torque increase
Stage 2 Tune focuses on fuel economy and a torque increase for productivity
Note: No modification to the exhaust system is required for this application. Depending on the amount of hours that is on the machine, the SCR/DEF system is not restrictive enough to impede the flow of exhaust gases. Once the software is loaded into these engine control modules, the Massey is ready for use. This specific application does not have an exhaust gas recirculation system, or diesel particulate filter integrated into the exhaust system. If you have any questions regarding the amount of hours that are on your machine, please feel free to contact us and we will help any way we can!
Please specify at checkout which model you're purchasing for as a note on the order screen.
Example - 4700 / 5700 / 6700 / 7700 / 8700
Reflash Master Handheld Device:
The Reflash Master handheld tuner makes tuning easy and simple. In four easy steps, the handheld device is ready to take a read of your Tractor's ECM. After sending the read file to us, we have a turn around time of 2 hours before sending you an updated MOD file for the Tractor. Once written, the Tractor is ready to go! This kit includes our handheld device and software, and Quick Reference guide. Also included in our kit is TeamViewer software so that we can access your PC to provide support during the tuning process when necessary.
In need of more power?
This is a question that we get asked quite often. When it comes to horsepower increases, the best way to explain it is that we are making the engine more efficient. It produces more power, sooner. If you drive the equipment nicely, you will get up to speed faster, keeping the engine load lower - reducing overall load. If there is a situation where more power is needed, you’ll have the extra horsepower that you need! It really is the best of both worlds.
What is DEF?
DEF, or diesel exhaust fluid is a liquid that is injected into the exhaust system. This part of the exhaust system is called the SCR, or the selective catalytic reduction. It is designed to remove nitrogen oxide emissions from the diesel engine. The issue with diesel exhaust fluid is that because it is 67% water, it can freeze during the winter. This can crack the DEF tank and lead to other problems. Some manufacturers use diesel exhaust fluid as their main, or only, source of emissions control. This can result in high costs, ensuring that the DEF is always full. The catalyst that is used for the DEF is not as restrictive compared to the diesel particulate filter. This means that it can stay in place, even after a reflash has taken place. We recommend that you rinse out the DEF system with water after the fluid has been drained. Diesel exhaust fluid if left alone for a long period of time can crystalize. That is why it is best to make sure everything is clean!
Which vehicles can be tuned?
We can optimize modern tractors, harvesters, combines, sprayers, construction equipment, and just about anything else with a diesel engine! While we have the capability of tuning just any diesel engine on the market today, we specialize in agriculture and construction equipment.
Emissions tuning is for off-road use only. Please consult your Provincial or State legislation, as this product may not be street legal. Removal of emissions systems cannot be performed on vehicles that are registered for highway use. It is up to the Consumer to know and understand their local legislation prior to purchasing.
