STEP 03SendEmail us the read file. Your tuned file comes back in about 2 hours.

Why delete the DPF and EGR on a Takeuchi TL10?

DPF

Diesel particulate filter

Every hour of work loads the filter with soot, and the TL10 has to stop and burn it off with extra fuel. Short jobs and low idle make it worse, until the filter plugs and needs a cleaning or a new one. Once the DPF is shut off and removed, those regen cycles are gone.

EGR

Exhaust gas recirculation

The EGR system routes exhaust back through the intake, and carbon from that exhaust slowly coats the valve and passages. A sticking valve brings warning lights, sluggish power and limp mode. The reflash closes the EGR off, and V3800 machines also get a block off plate as a backup.
