Why delete the DPF on a compact Kubota?

Diesel particulate filter

Small Kubota diesels spend most of their hours idling, mowing or moving dirt at part throttle. That never gets the exhaust hot enough to burn off soot on its own, so the filter loads up and the machine has to stop for a regen, often at the worst time. A plugged filter also chokes the engine, costing power and fuel. With the DPF gone and the emulator in place, the exhaust flows freely and regens are done for good.

Everything is done with plugs. The ECU is never flashed and the machine never leaves your property.

Frequently asked questions

Q1My machine is not on the applications list. Will this emulator fit?+

Very likely. The list only shows the most common machines, and the emulator works on any Kubota running a V1505, D1803 or V2403 Tier 4 Interim engine. Send us the engine model from the data plate and we will confirm before you order.

Q2Do I need to cut or splice any wires?+

No. The emulator harness uses OEM-style connectors that plug straight into the factory DPF wiring. If you can unplug a sensor, you can install it.

Q3Will the emulator add horsepower?+

No. This kit handles the DPF only and leaves the fuel and boost settings as Kubota set them. If you want more power as well, call us and we can tell you what is available for your engine.

Q4Should I hollow out the DPF or replace it with a pipe?+

That is up to you. We do not sell piping for these engines, so most owners gut the filter out of the factory can and bolt it back on, which keeps the stock look. A straight pipe from a local exhaust shop works the same with the emulator.

Q5Do you ship to the United States and Canada?+

Yes. The emulator ships anywhere in the US and Canada. Expedited orders placed after 12 p.m. ET go out the next business day.
