OPTIONAL PIPING ADD-ON DPF bypass pipe Takes the place of the DPF canister after it comes out, leaving a straight, open exhaust. Fits the SVL75 only: the SSV75 has a different exhaust configuration and the pipe does not fit. Choose DPF Bypass Piping above. Piping is not sold separately.

Why delete the DPF and EGR on a Kubota SVL75?

DPF

Diesel particulate filter

On the SVL75, the DPF fills with soot faster than light-duty work can burn it off. That means parked regens, extra fuel and, sooner or later, a plugged filter that has to be cleaned or replaced. With the DPF turned off and removed, the regen cycle is gone for good.

EGR

Exhaust gas recirculation

EGR sends sooty exhaust back into the engine, and over time carbon packs the valve until it sticks. Expect warning lights, a lazy engine and limp mode when that happens. Our file shuts the valve electronically. The 3.3L engine in these machines does not use a block off plate.

Q3Can the DPF be removed?+

Yes. Our file turns off the DPF and its sensors, and the kit includes step by step instructions for taking the DPF filter out.

Q4Do the aftertreatment sensors need to stay connected?+

The exhaust gas temperature sensors must stay plugged in for CAN bus resistance. The differential pressure sensor does not need to be reconnected, and with a straight pipe the aftertreatment harness can simply be zip tied out of the way. The sensors do not have to go back into the exhaust.

Q5Will the horsepower tune increase fuel use?+

Our tunes raise output 10% or 20% with a linear map, so power arrives sooner. Run it at a lighter load and you can save fuel, with the extra power there when the job needs it.

Q6Do you ship to the United States and Canada?+

Yes. We ship the Reflash Master kit across Canada and the US, usually within 1 business day if overnight shipping is selected.
