Bobcat 2015–Present DOC, EGR & DEF Delete Tune

Spend less time in the shop and more time on the job. We owned and ran a Bobcat S770, so our files were proven on our own machine first. We bench flash your ECM, plus the ACM on DEF models, to switch off the EGR, DOC and DEF/SCR systems for good. No exhaust changes are needed. Add 10% more power with our horsepower tune. We ship all across the US and Canada.

Why delete the DOC, EGR and DEF on a Bobcat?

DOC

Diesel oxidation catalyst

The DOC relies on sensors and regens to keep working. When it plugs or a sensor faults, the machine derates and work stops. The reflash turns it off, so it no longer controls how your machine runs. The exhaust can stay as it is.

EGR

Exhaust gas recirculation

The EGR valve feeds exhaust gas back into the engine. Carbon builds up until the valve sticks or plugs, which leads to warning lights, lost power and limp mode. The EGR blocker plate in our kit closes it off for good.

DEF

Diesel exhaust fluid / SCR

On the larger Bobcats, the SCR system runs on diesel exhaust fluid that has to be bought, stored and topped up. Crystallized fluid, failed dosing pumps and faulty NOx sensors can all put the machine into a power derate. Our reflash turns the system off on every 75+ hp model, so you never have to fill the DEF tank again.

Q1Why choose a Reimer Tuning reflash for my Bobcat?+

We build our files in house and proved them on our own Bobcat S770, with next-day turnaround on bench flashing. Every tune is backed by real tech support, and we have been doing this since 2014.

Q2Which Bobcat machines have DEF?+

Bobcat machines over 74 hp (S750, S770, S850, S86, T750, T770, T870, T86 and A770) are Tier 4 Final with DEF. They need the EGR/DOC/DEF reflash, and we flash both the ECM and ACM. Machines at 74 hp and under are Tier 4 Interim (no DEF) and only need the ECM flashed for the EGR/DOC reflash.

Q3My exhaust temperature sensor is damaged. Do I need to replace it?+

No. Our file turns off the readings from all the sensors on the aftertreatment harness.

Q4Do I need to modify the exhaust?+

No. The exhaust can stay as it is, and our file turns off all the aftertreatment sensors. If you would rather remove the DOC and SCR, we offer a straight pipe for DEF models. Choose it above (piping is not sold separately).

Q5Will the horsepower tune increase fuel use?+

We increase the mapping linearly across the board. This means that your machine produces more power sooner. If you run the machine at a lower engine load, you will save fuel, while still having the extra power there when the job calls for it.

Q6Do you ship to the United States and Canada?+

Yes. We serve owners across Canada and the US. After you order we email shipping and customs instructions for your ECM and ACM.
